Xiangjiang Safari Park

Xiangjiang Safari Park is located in Dashi, Panyu, occupying 1.5 sq. km. Opened in December 1997, it is one of the first groups of national 4-A tourism sites. The park houses over 20,000 precious birds and 400 species of rare animals. It is the first of its kind in China and the biggest one in Asia. Among the protected species here are 100 white tigers and a large number of alligators. The park's goal is to "protect wildlife and preserve the natural environment."
