Wuyuan

Situated in northeastern Jiangxi Province and bordering Anhui and Zhejiang, Wuyuan was established as a town back in 740. It is known as a land of culture that has bred a legion of renowned artists and writers since the 10th century. Its ancient buildings are among the best preserved in China.
Wuyuan boasts green mountains, crystal waters and clear sky. Each of the many mountains in the region has a story. It is laced through by a tight mesh of watercourses. Picturesque scenes incorporating mountain, river, bridge and hamlet can be seen in every corner of the county.
