Wusuli River
Wusuli River (乌苏里江) is a big branch on the right bank of Heilongjiang River, also an important boundary river on the Sino-Russia border in the Northeast. Wusuli River is one of the few unpolluted rivers in China with beautiful and natural scenery. Overlooking her west bank, we can see the flourishing forest on Nadanhada Ridge and the rich and luxurious Sanjiang Plain; another elegant and captivating scene is the continuous mountains and their shadows on the surface of the water at the east bank. Her flat beach is covered with cobblestones of various colors; the silvery white water is very calm and glimmers in the sunlight, and occasionally, fish boat, yachts and cargo ships steering on the river may be seen, which adds liveliness to this serene environment. In addition, Wusuli River is rich in world-renowned salmon; carp, crucian carp, mandarin fish, bream, bighead fish and brown trout are also well known.
