Wu Minxia
Wu Minxia (吴敏霞) is a diver with the Chinese national swimming team. She won gold medals in women's double 3-meter springboard diving and women's single 3-meter springboard diving in 2012 London Olympic Games.
Prior to London Olympic Games in 2012, she won the women's singles and doubles in the 3-meter springboard at the International Swimming Federation (FINA) Diving World Cup.
Born on Nov. 10, 1985 in Shanghai, Wu started diving training at the age of six, and joined the Shanghai Diving Team in 1994 before becoming a member of the National Diving Team in 1998. Her first partnership was with Guo Jingjing and they first competed together at the 14th Asian Games in Busan in 2002, during which they won gold in the women's doubles in the 3-meter springboard. Wu also took second place in the women's singles in the 3-meter springboard.
