Wang Suyi, former head of the United Front Work Department under the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Regional Party Committee.

Wang Suyi (王素毅), former head of the United Front Work Department under the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region's Committee of the Communist Party of China (CPC), has been dismissed from his post. His dismissal was confirmed by the Organization Department of the Communist Party of China Central Committee on July 3, 2013.

The CPC Central Committee took the decision after Wang was suspected of serious disciplinary violations; the relevant procedures are currently underway, according to an official of the Organization Department.

Wang, born in June 1961, is a Mongolian from Tuzuo Banner, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. He became a member of the CPC in June 1986. He obtained a master's degree.

From October 1978 to August 1982, he studied at the Shanxi Institute of Mining Technology, majoring in underground coal mining.

In August 1982, he served as a clerk in charge of transport energy at the Planning Committee of the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region.

In March 1989, he served as vice director of the Transport Energy Department of the Planning Committee of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region.

In November of 1992, he served as director of the Transport Energy Department of the Planning Committee of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region.

In August 1996, he served as vice chairman of the Planning Committee of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region and director of the Inner Mongolia Jitong Railway Company.

In September 1998, he served as vice chairman of the Planning Committee of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, vice chairman of the Development and Planning Committee of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, and vice chairman of the board of directors of the Inner Mongolia Jitong Railway Company.

In August 2001, he served as member of the Hohhot Municipal Party Standing Committee and vice mayor of Hohhot.

In March 2003, he served as vice chairman of the Development and Planning Committee of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region and chairman of the leading group of the Western Development Office.

In July 2003, he served as vice chairman of the Development and Reform Committee of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region and chairman of the leading group of the Western Development Office. Between July 2001 and July 2004, he studied for a jurisprudence master's degree at the Party School of the Central Committee of the CPC.
