From Wiki China org cn

Open before your eyes are ancient cultural relics of Shanrong, a powerful nationality that appeared in the Yanshan region during the Spring and Autumn Period and the Warring States Period.

Till now, 584 tombs have been excavated along with nearly 20,000 items of gold, bronze, pottery, jade, agate, turquoise, bone, mussel etc. The unique exhibition hall recovers the excavation scene: on the yellow ground, 10 tombs are displayed in order.

Two large tombs belong to the caciques, five mid-sized tombs and three small tombs are for the tribe members. The tomb is erect, filled in with a wooden coffin, in which the dead faces upward. On the head of the coffin, skulls and shoulder bones of horses, cows or dogs are placed in accordance with the status of the dead. The cacique wore gold earrings and a carcanet. Around his waist is a bronze dagger on the right and a bag of arrowheads on the left.

A visit to this exhibition will help you understand basic features of Shanrong culture, an important part of Chinese cultures during the Spring and Autumn Period, and the similarities and the dissimilarities between Shanrong culture and the culture of central plains.
