National Seminary of the Catholic Church in China

The National Seminary of the Catholic Church in China was opened in 1983 in Beijing to train Catholic clergy and theologians. The present campus covers an area of 4.8 hectares. With both Chinese and foreign professors, to date it has recruited a total of 419 students, in 10 classes. Over 240 of these students have become Catholic priests.

There are also regional seminaries in Shenyang, Shanghai, Wuhan, Xi'an and Chengdu.
