Li Yanfeng (李艳凤)

Li Yanfeng (李艳凤) is a Chinese discus thrower and a member of the national women's track team.

She won gold at the Guangzhou Asian Games and on Aug. 28, 2011, she ruled the 2011 Daegu World Athletics Championships where she won the first gold medal for China at the championships

Born on May 15, 1979 in Qinggang, Heilongjiang Province, Li Yanfeng started specialized training in March 1994. That same year, she joined the Heilongjiang provincial team and in June of 2003, she went on to join China's national team. Her coach is Zhang Jinglong.

2008 Women's Discus Throw Champion at the “Good Luck Beijing” China Track and Field Open, a Beijing Olympic test event

2010 Guangzhou Asian Games Women's Discus Throw Champion, where she threw a season-best.66.18 meters.

2011 Li Yanfeng set a new personal record at the IAAF Diamond League, measuring a distance of 67.98 meters.
