International Airline Alliances

From Wiki China org cn

In November 2007, China Southern Airlines announced its membership in SkyTeam, the second largest airline alliance in the world – behind Star Alliance. China Southern Airlines became the first airline company from the mainland of China to join international airline alliance. In the next month, Air China and Shanghai Airlines officially joined the Star Alliance. As international air transportation develops rapidly and competition and cooperation deepen, airline alliances have played a significant role in promoting the development of international air transportation. Chinese airlines can improve their brand values and enhance their core competitiveness and sustained profitability through their membership in international airline alliances so as to provide more new experiences and higher quality services to the customers.
