Located in Cuiheng Village, Zhongshan Township, the Sun Yat-sen Residence Memorial Museum was built in 1956 to preserve Dr. Sun Yat-sen (Sun Zhongshan)'s birthplace. A cultural site under state protection, it is divided into three units—Sun Yat-sen's birthplace, Exhibition Hall of Sun Yat-sen's Life, and Museum of Cuiheng Folk Customs.
