Dragon Tower, officially called Heilongjiang Province Broadcasting Tower, is a comprehensive and multifunctional tower, combining broadcasting, sightseeing, catering and entertainment, advertising and wireless communications into one. 336 meters high, it is the second highest steel tower in the world, and the highest in Asia.

The Science and Technology Paradise in Dragon Tower is reputed as “the best paradise in Heilongjiang” and one of the national bases for spreading scientific knowledge to the youth. The Terra-cotta Warriors and Horses during the reign of Emperor Qin Shihuang has recently been exhibited on the second floor, which is magnificent and imposing. In the Waxworks Museum of Dragon’s Descendents, there are more than forty emperors’ wax statues, such as Emperor Qin Shihuang, Genghis Khan, Wu Zetian and so on. The sightseeing floor, at an elevation of 181 meters, is the first exhibition hall in China to display celebrities’ hand-imprints, in which more than 300 celebrities’ hand imprints are collected, comparable to Hollywood’s Star Boulevard. The Adventurous Ring Strolling in the Clouds, 60 meters in length, provides excitement without danger. The saucer-shaped revolving restaurant, built with a total floor area of 1,256 square meters and 186 meters from the ground, provides a comfortable and elegant environment for tourists to enjoy cuisines of both Western and Chinese style.
