Dong Dong (董栋) is a top gymnast on the Chinese national team and a gold medalist in the men's trampoline event at the 2012 London Olympic Games.

Born on April 13, 1989 in Zhengzhou, Henan Province, Dong began training in gymnastics at the age of five and started training trampoline in 2002. He made the Chinese national trampoline team in 2005. Dong's performance is characterized by elegance, high-quality and stableness.

Major achievements:

2005:

10th National Games – a member of the Chinese team which won the men's team title;

2007:

Quebec Trampoline World Championships –a member of the Chinese team which won the men's team title and runner-up in the men's trampoline individual event;

2008:

Beijing Olympic Games – runner-up in the men's trampoline event;

2009:

11th National Games – champion in the men's trampoline event;

St. Petersburg Trampoline World Championships –a member of the Chinese team which won the men's team title and the men's trampoline individual event;

2010:

National Championships – runner-up in the men's trampoline event;

Guangzhou Asian Games – champion in the men's trampoline event;

2012:

London Olympic Games – champion in the men's trampoline event.
