Da Xue

Da xue (大学Great Learning) is originally one chapter in the Li. It was extracted from the Li in the Song Dynasty and became listed as one of the Confucian "Four Books." (The other three are Lun yu, Meng zi, and Zhong yong.) It was the fundamental norms followed by the Confucian school of idealists on ethics, politics and philosophy after the Southern Song.
