"Combat corruption and build a clean government" (反腐倡廉 fán fǔ chàng lián) is a firm stance taken by the Communist Party of China to manage the country. It has been the guideline of the CPC and the government ever since the establishment of People’s Republic of China. It became particularly important after the country’s reform and opening-up in 1978 when domestic production started to grow at an astonishing speed.
