Situated in the Songbei Development Zone on the north bank the Songhua River in Harbin, the Chinese Northeast Tiger Park was established in 1996 to rescue, protect and reproduce the Chinese Northeast Tiger, an endangered animal. It covers an area of 96.6 hectares, the largest park for Northeast Tigers.
