Cangpo Village

Located in Yantou Town, Yongjia County of Zhejiang Province, Cangpo Village dates back to the Song Dynasty. Although hundreds of years have passed, the walls, houses, paths, pavilions, temples and pools in the village still retain their ancient style, maintaining much of their original layout. Cangpo is essentially a single-surname village, settled and subsequently developed by a population all claiming the surname Li. The village also features the Eight Diagrams-structured lanes and streets. In 1991, Cangpo Village was listed as a historical cultural conservation area of Zhejiang Province.

Admission: 15 yuan (including ancient wedding ceremony performance)

How to get there: Take a bus from Yantou Town to Yantan/Zhanxi/Hesheng/Lingtou and get off at Cangpo Village.

Tips: 1. Be sure to take some photos at Cangpoximen Gate, which is the main gate of the village with exquisite workmanship; 2. It may take half an hour to get around the village; 3. Farmhouse and farm dinner available in the village.
