Fan Shoukang (also known as Yun Zang), was born in 1895 in Shangyu City, Zhejiang Province. He graduated from Literature Department of Japanese Imperial University of Tokyo with a Master Degree of Education and Philosophy. He worked as editor in the Commercial Press, professor and secretary general of Sun Yat-Sen University, Dean of Literature Department of Anhui University and Dean of Philosophy of Wuhan University.
