Beijing Museum of Aeronautic and Astronautic Models

From Wiki China org cn

Beijing Museum of Aeronautic and Astronautic Models is China's first model museum. Open to the public on September 9, 1999, the museum has been successively designated as Beijing Patriotism Education Base, Beijing Science Popularization Education Base, Scientific and Technological Education Base for Primary and Middle School Students in Chaoyang District, Science Popularization Education Base in Chaoyang District.

Located in Dashanzi, Chaoyang District, the museum has activity zones represented by "the small airport", exhibition halls, workshops and teaching halls with a total coverage of 26,000 square meters. There are 92,000-square-meter green belts with beautiful rural landscapes.

The facilities inside the museum are suitable for international contests. The museum is an ideal place for those keen on aeronautic models to fly their models. At present, there is considerable discrepancy between China and foreign countries in conducting this activity. We hope that men of insight make concerted efforts to promote this cause and let our children's dreams fly from here.

Welcome to this museum. Welcome your visit and participation in flying the aeronautic models.
