1931: China regained control of Weihaiwei.

1949: PRC held founding ceremony.

1955: Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region was established.

1960: China and Burma signed Boundary Treaty.

1999：A massive military parade was held in Beijing to celebrate the 50th birthday of the PRC.

2000: China Millennium Monument officially opened to the public.
