Tim Le (Chinese: 乐嘉 pinyin: Lè Jiā), a professional lecturer and trainer, is well-known for his guest host role in China’s popular blind date reality show “If You Are the One.” He is also the author of the Four-Color Personality Analysis (FPA), a theory in decoding the personalities via people’s reactions to colors.

Born on May 16, 1975, in Shanghai, Le moved with his family to a rural town in Shaanxi Province as a two-month old. After spending 12 years in the town, he returned to Shanghai and was admitted to a local middle school. Upon graduating, he left for Ningbo, in Shanghai’s neighboring Zhejiang Province, to continue his education in a secondary technical school. From 1991 to 1994, he studied foreign trade in Ningbo Radio and TV University.

Despite a mismatched major, Le, at age 21, became a popular psychological consultant and lecturer, famous for his infusing of the stage performance skills in speech delivery. Although his analyses were mostly based on personal observation and self-taught knowledge, his speeches and consulting services have been used by a number of prominent companies and universities, including, PepsiCo China Ltd, Swatch Group (China), Fudan University and Jiao Tong University.

Acclaimed as “a magician in deciphering personalities” by Chinese media, Le was recruited by Jiangsu Satellite Television Station in 2010 as a guest host for “If You Are the One,” partnering with grassroots anchorman Meng Fei. The program, consistantly high in ratings among the weekend entertainment, expanded Le’s popularity.

A versatile man, Le develops a wide range of interests and hobbies, including modern drama, magic, yoga and travelling.
