As a supporting city for the 2008 Olympic Games, Tianjin has built the Olympic Sports Center southwest of Tianjin's urban area. The Tianjin Olympic Sports Center consists of a competition area, a multi-purpose area and a dwelling area, including the new outdoor stadium, an indoor stadium and aquatics center, a golf practice field, an international sports exchange center and an Olympic museum.
