The Boundary Treaty between China and Mongolia

The Boundary Treaty between the People's Republic of China and the People's Republic of Mongolia was signed on December 26, 1962 in Beijing.

For territories divided by rivers, the border is the center line of the main river. For territories divided by roads, the roads belong to, are administered by and used by both countries.

The treaty also stipulated that the two countries would establish a joint survey commission after the treaty went into effect on March 25, 1963, to determine the border and erect markers, draft a boundary protocol and draw a map to replace the one attached to the treaty. The boundary protocol was signed on June 30, 1964.
