Located in the west part of Jixi County, Anhui Province, Shangzhuang Village, previously called Shangchuan, is surrounded by green mountains and clean water, embodying a concentrated reflection of the construction style of official and commoner residences alike during the period of the Ming and Qing Dynasties.
