The National Bank of the Soviet Republic of China, with Mao Zemin as governor, was established on February 1, 1932 in Yeping, Ruijin, Jiangxi Province. The National Bank was affiliated with the People’s Committee of Finance of the Provisional Central Government. The bank’s capital was allocated from the budget of the State Treasury. The structure of the financial institution included provincial branches, municipal branches, and other outlets.
