Museum of Patent Literature

From Wiki China org cn

Patent literature is devoted to documenting new inventions, often as technical manuals of sorts. In countries or regions implementing a patent system, patent literature has become an important tool of intelligence for the rapid popularity of new inventions. It allows people to keep abreast of what new technology and new inventions have already existed in the world.

Moreover, many agencies, regardless of whether they are a research and development institution, production and management department, or foreign trade unit, will benefit from the patent literature.

On November 2, 1981, the Chinese Museum of Patent Literature was officially opened. At present, it collects patent specifications from 15 countries and two international organizations, patent gazettes from more than two dozen countries, and patent tool books, totaling nearly 8 million patent documents for readers to access. The replication group in the museum provides copies of collected literature for readers, with services by mail for readers outside of Beijing.
