Gangwashi Church

From Wiki China org cn

Almost diagonally opposite the Rice Market Church across the city, there is the Gangwashi (Crock and Tile Market) Church standing at 57 South Xisi Street in the western part of Beijing. The church was also built in the 1920s to house the London Missionary Society. It, too, got its name because of the nearby market. Since 1958, it has been part of the Chinese Christian Council.

It shared the same fate as the Mishitang during the "cultural revolution", and was re-opened in 1980 after repair. Now services are held every Sunday, Bible classes on Tuesday evenings and prayer-meetings on Thursday mornings.
