China Tea Museum (http://www.teamuseum.cn/) in Hangzhou is the only one of its kind in the country. Opened to the public in October 1990, the museum is located at the Twin-Peak Tea Village of West Lake Township. Occupying an area of 1.67 hectares, this national museum displays a bewildering variety of teas produced nationwide, ranging from black tea to green tea, from white tea to dark tea, from Yunnan brick tea to Fujian Oolong tea. The museum is composed of four buildings. The first one houses six exhibition halls, including tea-growing history, tea customs, tea collection and tea sets. The second one is used for reception and academic exchanges. The third one has six tea rooms of different styles with various tea samples. The fourth is for tea art and tea ceremony exhibition.
