China Children's Academy of Sciences is an organization devoted to outside school education by utilizing social resources to develop scientific education for students, helping them develop interest in and love for science, so that they grow up as dedicative and creative scientists.
On February 8, 1999, 13 young science lovers from Beijing, Shanghai, Jiangsu and other provinces received their Certificates of Academician of China Children's Academy of Sciences. They became the first young academicians of the organization.
