Tian'anmen Gate Tower in Beijing

Tian'anmen (天安门) was the front gate of the Imperial City (Forbidden City). It was built in 1417, the 15th year of the reign period of Ming Emperor Yongle. Prince Gong's Mansion
Prince Gong's Mansion (恭王府) is located near Shichahai Lake, to the northwest of the Forbidden City in Beijing. The private residence of He Shen, a favorite minister of Emperor Qianlong of the Qing Dynasty (1644-1911), it was built in 1777. In 1851, the mansion was bestowed upon Prince Gong by Emperor Xianfeng (1851-1862), hence the name. Sole prince's mansion open to the public, it is the most well preserved mansion in Beijing. Shadow Play

China is the hometown of the shadow play (皮影戏). The Chinese leather shadow play is said to date back to the Han Dynasty (206 BC - 220 AD), but it was not until the Song Dynasty (960-1279) that the art form had its earliest appearance in the records of historians. Wuzhen

Wuzhen (乌镇) is a historic canal town south-west of Shanghai. Located in Tongxiang, Zhejiang Province, the traditional feel, style, features and structures of a typical town in this region of lakes and rivers have been well kept. The streets of Wuzhen run alongside rivers with bridges for intersections. Houses are built along the rivers, and they are typically imposing dwellings with spacious courtyards, overlapping roofs and high eaves. Other structures apart from houses run along the rivers, like docks, walkways, workshops, commercial buildings, and pavilions, some on the water.
