From Wiki China org cn

Asia's largest transonic wind tunnel was set up in China Aerodynamics Research & Development Center on December 21, 1997.

The tunnel is 66 meters long and 33 meters wide. It was designed and built independently by Chinese experts.

The wind tunnel is an indispensable testing resource for complex spacecrafts. And the major function specifications of the tunnel are of international standards.

The center has built 42 wind tunnels including low speed wind tunnel, transonic wind tunnel, shock tunnel, low density wind tunnel, etc. Only a few countries in the world have built such tunnels.
