Zou Kai (邹凯)

Zou Kai (邹凯) is a Chinese gymnast who won two gold medals in the men's gymnastics floor final and the men's gymnastics team final at the London Olympic Games. After the victory, he waved a banner saying "Five golds lead China." He is the first Chinese athlete to win five Olympic gold medals.

Prior to London Olympic Games in 2012, he collected three gold medals in the team competition, floor and horizontal bar at the Beijing Olympic Games in 2008. Born on Feb. 25, 1988 in Sichuan, Zou started gymnastic training at the age of four, and joined the Sichuan provincial gymnastic team in 2001 before becoming a member of the national team in 2002.

In 2003: Men's gymnastics floor champion, men's horizontal bar champion and men's all-around second runner-up at the Asian Championships.

In 2004:

Men's gymnastics floor champion at China Gymnastics Championships

In 2005:

Men's gymnastics floor second runner-up at the Gymnastics World Cup in Germany

In 2006:

Three gold medals in the team competition, floor and horizontal bar at the Doha Asian Games;

Men's gymnastics floor second runner-up at the Gymnastics World Cup in France;

Men's gymnastics team champion at the World Gymnastics Championships in Denmark

In 2007:

Men's gymnastics team champion at the World Gymnastics Championships in Germany;

Men's gymnastics floor champion at the Gymnastics World Cup in Shanghai;

Men's gymnastics floor runner-up at the Gymnastics World Cup in Paris, France

In 2008:

Men's horizontal bar champion at the Gymnastics World Cup in Germany;

Triple gold medals out of team, floor and horizontal bar at the Beijing Olympic Games

In 2009:

Men's gymnastics floor champion and men's horizontal bar champion at the 11th National Games;

Men's gymnastics floor runner-up and men's horizontal bar champion at the 41th World Gymnastics Championships
