Zhang Yi (张毅) is head of the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission (SASAC) of the State Council and secretary of the SASAC committee of the Communist Party of China (CPC). He is also a member of the 18th CPC Central Committee.

Born in August 1950, Zhang had served as deputy secretary of the CPC provincial committees in northeast China's Heilongjiang and northern Hebei provinces.

In October 2007, Zhang became deputy secretary of the CPC Central Committee for Discipline Inspection.

Zhang was appointed Party chief of the Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region in July 2010 and was re-elected in June 2012.

In March 2013, Zhang was appointed as deputy head of SASAC.

In December 2013, Zhang replaced Jiang Jiemin as head of SASAC.
