Zhang Yanquan

Zhang Yanquan (张雁全), born in 1994 in Guandong Province, is a male diver with the Chinese national swimming team. He won the 10-meter platform at the 2009 East Asian Games in Hong Kong and the 10-meter synchronized platform (with Cao Yuan) at the London Olympic Games.

Zhang started gymnastics training at a local amateur sports school in 1998. However, in 2003, he was picked up by the Guangzhou City diving team and later joined Guangdong’s provincial diving squad. In 2008, he was recruited by the Chinese national swimming team due to outstanding performances in several world diving competitions.

Men’s singles and doubles champion at the 10m platform during the East Asian Games in Hong Kong;

In 2011: Men’s doubles champion at the 10m platform during the FINA Diving Series in Madrid and Beijing;

In 2012: Men’s doubles champion at the 10m platform during the 18th FINA World Cup;

Men’s doubles champion at the 10m platform during the FINA Diving Series in Dubai and Beijing;

Men’s doubles champion at the 10m platform during London Olympic Games.
