Zhang Qingwei, Han nationality, is a native of Leting, Hebei Province. He was born in 1961, started to work in 1982, and joined the CPC in 1992. Zhang is a master's of engineering and researcher. Zhang has spent his career primarily at the China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation, where he became general manager in 2001.
Zhang was a member of the 16th CPC Central Committee and a member of the standing committee of the All-China Youth Federation. He is a member of the 17th CPC Central Committee.
