Zhang Nan (张楠)

Chinese badminton player Zhang Nan (张楠) was born in Beijing on March 1, 1990. Zhang and his partner Zhao Yunlei won the mixed doubles Olympic title at the 2012 London Olympic Games, and are currently ranked first in badminton mixed doubles worldwide.

Boasting advantages in strength and height, Zhang is a rising star on China's national badminton team. He excels in men's doubles and mixed doubles. The promising player has a bright future ahead of him.

2010:

The 5th East Asia Games – runner-up in the mixed doubles competition (with Ma Jin) and a member of the Chinese team which won the men's team title;

Guangzhou Asian Games – runner-up in the mixed doubles competition (with Zhao Yunlei) and a member of the Chinese team which won the men's team title;

2011:

Asian Badminton Championships – champion in the mixed doubles competition (with Zhao Yunlei);
