Xiaoman

Xiaoman (小满) reflects a phenological phenomenon, referring to the fact that the grains of some summer-ripe crops like wheat get full before they are completely ripe. It's also the right season for rice transplanting.

After Xiaoman, the weather becomes hot, especially in the regions between the Yellow River and the middle and lower reaches of the Yangtze River, where the temperature could be over 35℃ (95oF).
