Wu Aiying

Minister of Justice

Wu Aiying, a native of Changle, Shandong Province, was born in 1951. She joined the Communist Party of China (CPC) in October 1970, and started work in August 1973. Wu received a Master’s degree in politics from the Party School of the CPC Central Committee. She also took an in-service postgraduate course with the Law Department of the Party School of the CPC Central Committee.

From 1971 to 1973: student in politics at Shandong University; teacher at the Party School of the CPC Changle County Committee, Shandong; Vice Secretary and Secretary of the CPC Changle Commune Committee; Vice Secretary of the CPC Changle County Committee, Shandong.

From 1978: Secretary of the CPC Changwei Committee, Shandong; Vice Secretary of the Shandong Provincial Committee of the Communist Youth League; Deputy Director of the Women’s Association of Shandong Province; Director of the Women’s Association of Shandong Province.

From 1993: Vice Governor of Shandong Province.

From 1998: Vice Secretary of the CPC Shandong Provincial Committee.
