Wang Qishan

Wang Qishan (王岐山), born in July 1948, is a male ethnic Han from Tianzhen, Shanxi Province. He entered workforce in January 1969 and joined the CPC in February 1983. He graduated from the University Regular Class at the Department of History at Northwest University, China, with a major in history. He is a senior economist.

He is currently a member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee, secretary of the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection.
