The Upper Cave Man (山顶洞人) refers to human beings living in northeast China during the Upper Paleolithic period.

At the excavation site of Dragon Bone Hill, Zhoukoudian, Beijing, archeologists found three skulls and other human fossils of at least eight hominids, a large number of animal fossils, along with carbon dust, stone tools, bone tools, and jewelry made of beaded stones, animal teeth and shells.
