The China Beijing International High-Tech Expo (中国北京国际科技产业博览会) is a science and technology fair held in May every year.
Starting in 1998 and originally named the “Beijing International High-Tech Week,” the expo aims to introduce cutting-edge technologies to the public and provide a platform for them to expand their market.
The expo includes exhibitions, conferences and forums, the topics of which usually cover the latest development in science and technology such as innovation, natural resource strategies and the recycling economy.
Additionally, the expo provides opportunities for businessmen to negotiate and do some on-scene business. Enterprises such as Nokia, GE and Schneider are all regular customers to the expo.
