It is our utmost pleasure to announce that, stepping into her 3rd session, FDI --- Dongguan International Exhibition on Foundry and Diecasting Industries has been the one of the highly recognized events of its kind in South China, will be held again on 17 – 20 March 2010 at Dongguan International Conference and Exhibition Center, the International Well-known Manufacturing Base of China.
As the demand of bicycle, motorcycle, automobile, electrical appliance and electronic communication products grow rapidly, China has became a major country in the castings production and the use of foundry raw and auxiliary materials, having an extensive market and potential for the future development. Chinese foundry industry has developed quickly as a result of international trade, technology exchange, and cooperation in this field.
Business-wise, in spite of the global financial turmoil, China’s purchasing power and economic landscape are still admirable. To recap on the success of FDI 2009, a gross exhibition area of more than 12,000 square metres was recorded. As for buyers, the times of visiting increased year-on-year and reached an impressive 20,000 and they flocked to the event from 30 countries and regions. Manufacturers, wholesalers, distributors and trading companies constituted 85% of the aggregate buyers’ profile – an enviable and astonishing achievement by all standards when referring to global industrial shows opening after the financial tsunami. Indeed, the achievements of FDI 2009 outshined those of her previous editions. As the global economy is starting to pick up again in the right track, we deeply trust that FDI 2010 will witness another miracle.
