Song Andong (宋安东) is a Chinese-born ice hockey player. He rises to fame for being the first Chinese to be selected in the National Hockey League (NHL) Entry Draft in its nearly one hundred years of history. The 18-year-old Song was chosen 172nd overall by the New York Islanders in the 2015 NHL draft.

Song started playing hockey in the Beijing International Ice Hockey League (BIIHL) minor league when his mother was trying to find him a sport. Once his talent was spotted, he moved to Oakville, Ontario with the family at age ten to develop his hockey career. When selected, Song played for the Lawrenceville School in New Jersey.

The 6-foot, 161-pound defenseman, who goes by the name "Misha," plays on one of China's national teams. He plans to attend Phillips Andover Academy for a post-graduate year. After that, he expects to play college hockey.
