Shu, also known as Shang shu 尚书and Shu jing书经, is the earliest book of history in China. It is a collection of historical documents and records of the ancient times. It’s said to be compiled by Confucius, and keeps important historical records of the Shang and early Zhou dynasties. 28 chapters existed by the early Western Han Dynasty, with additional editions found in Confucius’ home.
