Revak Buddhist Temple Ruins lie in the midst of the Kula Kansman Desert, over 50 km to the northwest of Luopu county seat. In Uygur, "Revak" means "pagoda," and the temple got its name because of the earthen stupa inside.

The Revak building complex is composed of a group of temples with a stupa standing in a square courtyard as the center and outside temples. Chinese scholars think that its boom to bust was around the fourth century to the middle of the seventh century.

As one of the few remaining temple ruins, Revak Temple is meaningful to the research on ancient Yutian Buddhist culture, architecture, and painting.
