Mount Danxia

Mount Danxia is situated in Renhua County, bordering Guangdong, Hunan and Jiangxi. It is a national key scenic area specially designated for its red-colored rocks, which has given rise to the geological term "Danxia Landform." This landform was shaped between the Jurassic period of Mesozoic age and the third period of the Cenozoic age.
