Mogan Mountain is located in Deqing County under jurisdiction of Huzhou City; it is one of the four famous summer resorts in China. It excels in the bamboos it produces, spring wells, and view of clouds. The local average temperature during mid-summer is five or six degrees centigrade lower than that of Shanghai or Hangzhou. More than 200 villas of diverse architectural styles dot the area, including European country villas, European castle-like villas, and structures of Chinese classical style featuring curved-up eaves.
