Located in Jinghong County, Manfeilong Pagodas (http://www.chinaculture.org/gb/en_travel/2003-09/24/content_36199.htm) were brick structures first built in 1204. The main tower and eight smaller towers stand on a base in the shape of a plum blossom. The main building is 16.9 m high and the other towers are 9.1 m high. Looking like bamboo shoots in spring rising from the rolling green mountains, the Manfeilong Pagodas are dear to the hearts of Buddhists in Southeast Asia.
