Lu Xiaojun

Lu Xiaojun (吕小军) was born in Hubei Province on July 27, 1984. He is a member of the Chinese Men's Weightlifting Team. Lu won the gold medal during the men's 77kg weightlifting competition at the 2012 London Olympics and managed to break his personally held world records in the snatch event and overall score.

Lu began his weightlifting training in 1998 and moved on to the Tianjin Weightlifting Team in 2002. One year later he made his way to the Chinese Men's Weightlifting Team.

World Weightlifting Championships: men's 77kg: two gold (snatch, total) and one silver medal (clean and jerk);

World Weightlifting Championships: men's 77kg: one gold (clean and jerk) and two silver medals (snatch, total);

2011:

Asian Weightlifting Championships: men's 77kg: three gold medals (snatch, clean and jerk, total);

2011:

Paris World Weightlifting Championships: men's 77kg: two gold (snatch, total) and one silver medal (clean and jerk);

2012:

National Men's Weight-lifting Championships: men's 77kg, total: 373kg, silver medal;

2012:

Men's 77kg weightlifting competition at London Olympics: men's 77kg, total: 379kg, gold medal.
