Hulun Nur (Lake), also known as Dalai Nur, is one of the five largest freshwater lakes. Located in the western part of Hulunbuir Grassland, the lake covers an area of 2,339 sq km. It is home to 241 species of birds, including cranes, gulls, swans, wild geese, etc.
