Hsieh Su-Wei (谢淑薇) and Peng Shuai won the 2013 Wimbledon women's doubles title over Ashleigh Barty and Casey Dellacqua July 7, 2013. Hsieh was the first player from Taiwan to win a Grand Slam title, while Peng gave the Chinese mainland its first doubles title at a major tennis event in seven years.

Born on January 4, 1986 in Taipei, Taiwan, to a tennis-loving family, Hsieh herself began to play at age five. All six of her brothers and sisters have received professional tennis training. Hsieh joined in the East Asia Tour (for players under 14) when she was 11. She won championships in both singles and doubles. In 2001, Hsieh began her professional tennis career.

Hsieh, who is 1.69 meters tall and weighs 57 kilograms, has become one of the most promising tennis players in the world.

On June 8, 2014, Peng and Hsieh won their second Grand Slam title together by defeating Sara Errani and Roberta Vinci of Italy 6-4, 6-1 in the final of the French Open women's doubles.
